A Leading Natural Skincare Brand Gets A Packaging Makeover

Derma-E is a natural skincare brand that I have been using for about a year now. I discovered Derma-E when they launched at Target. It is the only brand I can use when my Rosacea has flared up. I was *recently sent two Derma-E products to get my opinion on their new packaging.

I normally shop for my skincare products through online retailers or direct from the brand’s website. On the occasion when I have been shopping in person, my eyes automatically look at the packaging before anything else.

I do not know if you have noticed,  but drugstores have been giving their beauty departments a makeover. Today, you get the feeling you are in a French Pharmacy or in a high-tech lab. I get a sense of excitement when checking out the packaging.

Here we have a look at the new packaging of Derma-E. The new packaging is on the right (the Hydrating Night Cream. The old packaging (Hydrating Day Cream) was fine but the new packaging instantly catches my eye.

What catches my eye is clean, minimalist packaging.  I also look for quality packaging. I like packaging to have some weight to them. I like to see the type to be printed on the jars rather than to have a label. Frosted glass is also an eye catcher. The Lotus Flower is still part of the packing. The formulas are the same one’s you know.

The packaging makeover also includes their tube packaging.

 

I was sent the Hydrating Night Cream. Previously I had tried the Hydrating Night Cream in a travel size and love it. Winter is brutal on my skin and my rosacea really flares up. The Hydrating Night Cream is the only night cream I can use on my irritated skin.

I recently discovered Derma-E has a Smoothing Line that is made for people with Rosacea. I will definitely be checking it out. Products for Rosacea are costly but Derma-E offers them for a fraction of the price.

The Hydrating Day Cream is a new product to me. I was really impressed with the rich formula. The day cream absorbs well into my skin. It provides me with all day moisture and provides a good base for foundation or powder.

Derma-E started out in a health food store in Southern California (all good things come from my home state). Today Derma-E can be found in store at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Sally Beauty Ulta Beauty, Target, and Derma-E.
