Oz Natural Super Youth 2.5% Retinol Moisturizer Review

Spring is finally here and my skin is celebrating. The cold weather and indoor heat are especially harsh on my skin. My rosacea flares up leaving me with angry red skin. During a flare-up, I have to use the most gentle cleanser and moisturizer until my skin heals. When I am not using exfoliators, my skin gets very dry and flaky. I was going to start using my retinol moisturizer for a few days to smooth out my skin. I noticed I was running low on my retinol moisturizer and just before I went to reorder, I was given the opportunity to try Oz Natural Super Youth 2.5% Retinol Moisturizer.

*Before I test a product, I stop using exfoliators for a few days so I get a good read on the test product.

I started by following my normal daytime routine:

– cleansing
– skipped toner
– skipped serum
– applied eye cream
– applied Oz Natural Super Youth 2.5% Retinol Moisturizer
– applied BB Cream (has SPF)

The first thing I noticed was there was no scent. The texture is smooth and absorbed well. I applied my BB cream and went about my day.

I followed my regular night routine:

– cleansing
– skipped toner
– skipped serum
– applied eye cream
– applied Oz Natural Super Youth 2.5% Retinol Moisturizer
– applied night cream

The next morning, my face felt so smooth. Normally when trying a new exfoliant, it will take a few days before I notice smoother skin. This retinol moisturizer worked overnight. After using the moisturizer for a few days, I noticed no irritation or redness. My skin is smooth, soft, and very moisturized.

What sets this retinol moisturizer apart from others I have used is the addition of Vitamin E, Vitamin B5, and Shea Butter. I am very pleased with the results I am experiencing with Oz Natural Super Youth 2.5% Retinol Moisturizer. OZ Naturals is a brand I am well familiar with. One thing you MUST do when using a retinol product is to wear sunscreen. Your skin is more susceptible to sunburn so do not forget to use a sunscreen during the daylight hours.
